100 Word Challenge week #7



       It was a dark and stormy night. My mom had left for an important meeting with her work friends and I was left home alone. At eleven o clock I decided to go and get my pajamas on. I came back downstairs and I felt a icy cold breeze. I went to the living room and the door was wide open! As I closed the door I felt the hair on my arm stand up and suddenly got goosebumps. I heard footsteps upstairs so I tiptoed up there. Then I heard a door slam right then as the door slammed, I knew there was a strange person in the house.

    Hello Mya Maze,
    This is an interesting interpretation of the prompt. It is creepy! You have used some descriptive vocabulary e.g. 'icy cold' and 'goosebumps'. Try to include even more interesting words. Avoid repeating words in a short piece of writing like this e.g. 'door slam(med)'. Well done on completing Week #7 of the 100 Word Challenge.
