100 Word Challenge Week #36

It was 4:00am. My alarm chimed. When I turned the TV on devastating war had broken out on every channel. And to think I was going to the battle field today. I guess I was used to war torn cities, families and people but never the death nor the weapons. Even though I was terrified I would be helping my country. I walked out the door and started my journey. As I walked through the forest I noticed a man lifeless in the dirt. In his hand he was holding a loaded gun I picked it up and bent it into a knot.

100 Word Challenge Week #34

I’m going to a bridge because I’ve heard rumours that there is a mansion on the other side, so I’m going to see if it’s true. I am on the bridge and getting close to the end. Ten more strides to go. I am at the end now and I see this huge mansion. It had a daffodil in a vase inside. There was a beautiful pink couch, it was very comfy too. I saw a sprinkled donut sitting on the counter; I thought that was very odd. I sat down and nibbled off a sliver, it was very sweet.

100 Word Challenge Week #20

I was climbing my ladder when a little dragonfly flew across my face. I thought it was odd because it had a brown stripe down the back. I ran inside my house to grab a jar then sprinted back outside. I caught up to the dragonfly and snatched it in the jar. I slowly and carefully walked back to my house and placed the jar down next to my goldfish. ‘’Do they see each other?’’ I wonder to myself. It seemed at that moment the two friends eyes met. From that moment on my little dragonfly and goldfish were best friends.

100 Word Challenge week #20

We were moving very fast when a truck came barrelling down our lane and hit us head on. The cars stopped in disbelief, shocked of what there eyes were seeing. Puddles of blood everywhere. All I could remember was lying in the hospital bed in pain hoping my mom was alright. When I woke up my dad was there. He told me what had happened. I started yelling for mom but my my dad stopped me and said ‘’your mom is alright. She has some cuts and bruises.’’ The doctor came and said that I am paralyzed and will never be able to walk again.
